Hey all. What's the current go to street and race spark plug for a Champion headed engine running 28psi?

NGK TR6 here with Champion GN1 heads, got this tip from Steve D on here. Depending on coils your gap might need to be tightened up.

Aluminum heads (Champion / TA) NGK 5430 BCR8ES, Brisk DR12S (NGK8), Brisk DR10S (NGK9)

Iron heads DENSO 5333 ITF24 (NGK8) DENSO 5334 ITF27 (NGK9)

Aluminum heads (Champion / TA) NGK 5430 BCR8ES, Brisk DR12S (NGK8), Brisk DR10S (NGK9)

Iron heads DENSO 5333 ITF24 (NGK8) DENSO 5334 ITF27 (NGK9)
Same plugs for street or strip?
GN1 aluminum heads. Why do you like the 5430 over the colder TR6?

5430 is an NGK 8, it’s colder than a 6.
The 8 will work for both street & strip. It’s cold enough for high power and stays clean on the street with E85. Even a 9 will stay clean.

All of these are resistor style, non projected. For aluminum a gasketed plug is much preferred over a tapered seat as it’s easier on the threads. I use a drop of oil on the threads to lube them.
