Eagle 5.967 vs 6.300 rod with 3.625 crankshaft

With a 3.625" stroke a 6.200 - 6.300" rod length is preferable. It is the best balance between piston side loading and compression height. If the rod to stroke ratio is less than stock piston side loading will increase. If you go with a rod longer than 6.300" you can run into compression height vs. target compression ratio. This will vary a bit block to block based on how many times the block has been decked and what the actual deck height ends up being. Go with the 7/16" rod bolts as stated above.
