i betcha that sellers glad that he did not piss that guy off worse, if it would have been me in the buyers shoes it would have been awfully hard to pass it up after that smug email he sent him.

Interesting case, but I personally think it would be thrown out in court. Most seem to disagree with me though.

That was the longest bs thread I can remember reading; it helped kill a sleepless hour. The guy had to ask his wife for the legal filing fees ($42, haha) and then when apparently turned down (even funnier), went to his own board members to solicit contributions. Sadly, he's from IN too. :( Just another case of internet bullys trying to show how smart they are and end up showing their ass. IMO, it's a real slap in the 3G community's face for allowing a thread like that to continue with all the bickering for 27 pages! We here can be just as subject to similar scrutiny should we allow such a path to be followed publicly. It was a personal dispute and should have remained private until ended. Posting the results of the action would have been ok; the public display of the details is the flaw.

No offense to equalizer; I chose to read it. I'm a little more appreciative of the board here by comparison.

I may be wrong and I hate to stereotype but that thread is full of younger folks that have never been involved with any kind of court proceedings. This kid would have had ZERO chance in court of winning that case. ZERO!

well did he finally file in small claims court???

i read most of his post, damn that was a long thread

He tried to do the person a favor and the person spit in his face called him names, and just basically got pissed, and all he wanted was a "sorry, I f'd up". Instead the person was mad because he had to re list the item. I personally wouldn't take the time to go through all that bs, but I'd like to see the lister of the auction raked over the coals. I read every post by him, and he gave the lister many opporatunities to get out of it by saying "sorry".
