What is the point of the hidden mic hanger if they were going to place a big sticker on the dash talking about pursuits? Short of a VIN history report, I think the only way to tell if the car is real would be to look at the option sticken in the trunk. I may be wrong, but I thought GM put a notation on the sticker stating the speed governor had been removed.

The mic hanger in the glove box if pretty normal for undercover cars. Lots of departments mount radios in the glove box so they are hidden from common view.

That sticker is from a Ford product. I believe a mid 90's Crown Vic. Mic hanger from Radio Shack.

BTW there isn't such a thing as a special service car,as far as GM's go. Not like there was on the Mustang. All the GM SSP cars used codes like B4C,1A2 and 9C1. Lots of other special codes too. Unless this guy can provide some paperwork to back up his claim than it is just another turbo Regal used by a police dept.

Edit: I correct myself. That sticker is from a 91-93 Caprice 9C1. GM didn't use them on anything else so that sticker was stuck on sometime after the 91 model year. Ford used somethimg similiar on their cop cars.

I sell them too. GM part #10220597. If you squint real hard you can make out the part number printed in the lower right corner. The Ford one is the same only with a Ford part number on it. GM stopped using them when they went to fully electronic transmissions.
