egr?

well i blew both headgastkets on saturday night so the heads are comming off, my question is...

should i drill out the egr passage ways, since champion filled them with aluminum ?

the egr tower is also ground off the intake will the egr still function properly or do i need a stock intake again?


i need to go for e testing so if this will help me pass ill try it .

You're really flirting with NOx issues with the EGr not working. Are these champion aluminum heads? If so, leave em alone. If they are irons with the correct passages, you really should have a functioning EGR system. Without the EGR system, then you're relying totally on the three-way-catalyst to help control NOx. If you have a larger turbo, is may curb some of the NOx until you're haevy into the boost, but I hope the Canada emissions test still ustilizes a fast pass. If not you'll be close. You may have your chip burner take some initial timing out of the progaming.
