Engine building question ........

It is understood that TR motors are externally balanced and that my already internally balanced engine (stock crank, rods, 0.030 TRW) will require the "flex plate and front balance hub" zero-balancing.

Looking at spinning 5400 RPM max, daily driver. I am 99.9% sure the Hot Air balance hub is different from the IC unit, so,....... I can not (yet) use the available after market parts. Lots of info and parts available on IC cars, but looking for suggestions/options from the experts on a Hot Air set-up.

The GM parts book shows just one part number for the 84-87 turbo engines. that is 25523503. But if you're going to spend the money for the neutral balanced hub, it doesn't really matter. Poston's sells them, the BHJs, and they just list one for internally balanced engines. If you really want to save money, you can just have the stock hub balanced, but it won't be NHRA legal, I don't believe.
