Engine Swap, stock 3.8 to gnx 3.8 turbo

Hello I have a stock 3.8 in my 85 regal. I have the chance to purchase a complete engine and transmission out of I believe an 84 Grand National 3.8 turbo. What all do I need for the upgrade.

Get the fuse box with it, much easier then cutting and splicing.

Wiring that goes back to the taillights is different. Few extra wires there for the fuel pump. Taillight harness has an extra 3 pin plug for the pump. You'll also need fuel lines and gas tank with sender. It would make life easier if you grabbed the dash and dash harness, too.

why would you want a hot air turbo swap? why not find an 87 engine and swap that instead?

I have done the swap over on a 1986 Limited with a 307 V8 engine. I changed every wire harness in the car, the fuel and vapor lines, trans crossmember ETC. ETC. I found it easier to start off with a donor car. This is NOT a project for a novice in my opinion. I f you want to build a fast Regal easy, drop a Buick 455 with a t-400 trans in it. Run easy 11's and lots cheaper IMO.
