ESPN2 sucks

Guys,

I don't know if it's just me but I have to say that I think the coverage of NHRA racing on ESPN2 sucks! I usually record the racing so I can watch it later and it seems that inevitably it gets pre-empted by something else half the time. Whether it's the Little League World Series, World Series of Poker or the Tiddly Wink finals it's always something!

I was just watching the coverage from the race in Charlotte, I got to see the first round and then all of a sudden I'm watching NASCAR. Don't get me wrong NASCAR is Ok but I recorded drag racing and now I'm pissed! I know I can check to see who won but it's not the same thing. @*&% ESPN2!

Unreal.. yep you said it Neal! Almost every week it never records what its supposed to thanks to espn2! F'ing joke! So much for watching the races in the morning when I get home from work!

Both NHRA and NASCAR......Just watch a rerun. The same players usually win.

FWIW adding 5 hours to the record time didn't help. Because they went from Nascar to soccer choosing to move NHRA coverage to ESPNNEWS.

They changed it to ESPN News when NASCAR came back on. I'm with you Neal, they suck.

I can't seem to ever find any drag racing coverage, and i don't want to pay for any more channels. It's hard enough now with 4 gazzillion i have now. I feel your pain. I wish NHRA would go back to basic. Ha

I think what frosted it for me was when I tuned in later to see if I could find the racing that I missed only to see the same NASCAR race from earlier in the day being aired again in it's entirety. I guess drag racing fans don't mean much to the folks over at ESPN.

And the best part is that even after I switch the recording to the other channel I only get up to the semis of the race and of course the damn thing shuts off.. I noticed ESPN got lit up on Twitter with complaints.

Made me smile a little.

The best way to get their attention is through their pocketbook. Contact sponsors. Be nice and polite just let them know how you feel about living without their product!

That's a first, swapping channels! I've had good luck adding 2 - 3 hrs to my recordings, but that wouldn't help on a channel switch. F'in NASCRAP is nothing but demo derby for rednecks...
