O.K....I may be (or probably am) stupid. I'm trying to remove the housing and it's my first time. I have removed the six housing bolts, tapped it to where it is loose and moveable but doesn't want to come off.....Is there another step here that I am leaving out?? Please excuse my ignorance and your help is appreciated. I haven't been there before.

Carbon build-up. How old is turbo? Just use a little force. (Use the Force Luke)

Moose, rotate it until you can use 2 of the bolts as "jack bolts" against the oil supply and return part of the center section. Back them out to try and push the hsg off, heat it up, give it a couple taps and that should do it.

Thanks alot guys. Billy, I was trying the "jack bolt " idea and it seemed to be moving a little at a time, but I didn't think it should be that tight. And I have a little history of forcing and f_ _ _ing things up (hard as that may be to believe).
