Exhaust housing ?

Is there such thing as a .85 4 bolt exhaust housing with the same 4 bolt pattern where the DP bolts to ??? I was thinking of upgrading my turbo's exhaust housing from a 3 bolt to a 4 bolt & retain my THDP. No turbo genius here so if it exists where can it be bought ? Thanks !

Does not exist.

A 4 bolt will not have provisions for an integral wastegate, so you'll have to go external.

There's a performance gain, but probably not too noticeable until you're way deep into the 10's.

So your saying that if I run an external gate I'll be able to find a .85 4 bolt housing with the same 4 bolt pattern for the THDP or did I misunderstand ? Thanks.

If you wanted to run headers that have a T4 turbo flange, they do make a 3 to 4 bolt adapter flange. But as was just mentioned, the only turbine housings that are compatible with the TH downpipe / factory downpipe 4 bolt flange are the Garrett, T-netics and PTE casted 3 bolt turbine inlet flange housings. PTE and T-netics both offer .85 and .82 A/R turbine housings respectively. Garrett only made a .82 which at this point, is very hard to find. The PTE housing out flows it's competitors housings. I believe Innovative might have used the T-netics housings, but I'm not 100% sure on that. It is easy to get the types of housings confused when people start talking about 4 bolt this, 3 bolt that. In the V8 turbo world, typically when you hear 4 bolt mentioned, it is in relation to the inlet flange of the turbo.
I will post a new thread that shows pictures of all the different style housings and make it a sticky later on. Gotta get all the pictures collected first.
