I know everyone here has gone through the cracked drivers side exhaust manifold game ! what is the best option?

Please call them "headers". :)

The BEST option is a stock stainless replacement from TA Performance.

I asked the same question a month or so ago and called them headers but no one replied so I thought I would change it up a bit...Thank you very much I will look into that....CHEERS !!!

Have a gusset welded into place between the 3 & 5 tube as pictured here.

Yea I did the same thing the last time! it lasted about a year :(

That is why he asked for the BEST option! :D

Sorry, welding repair on a 25 year old header is NOT the best option.

It may have been before you could purchase a new SS header with a 3-into-1 design, rather than the "sliced" configuration of the original, but no longer is that the case. ;)

I talked to the nice folks at TA performance today should have a new one soon!
Thanks again!!!!!!

No options or porting.

The flanges are the same as the TA race headers, so no need to port them. :)

any other options?? Ive got about 600 to spend on a set. but if the general consensus is these TA headers I guess ill scrounge the extra doe..

^scratch the comment above.

do i buy the $700 or the $1025.00 ones?? Im planing on getting the exhaust done and upgrading the turbo, I would like to do/buy it right the first time.

any and all feed back is greatly appreciated, and yes im new to this game when it comes to GN's been in the Audi Vw world for the past 12 years..

I've learned over the years on exhaust always go with stainless steel if at all possible
