Well I'm about to place a "partial" order, I want everything except the tailpipes that jump the rear axle. I could see if they'd still count that as part of the group buy, but I'm ready to settle for 20% off because I don't think 10 people are gunna order. I'm not the most patient person , so let me know if you're all still holding out for 30% and I'll just order by myself.

Do you think it'll take a long time for the packages to pass customs and everything? If I have to wait 3 weeks for it to get here, I'd rather have it fabbed up at the shop 2 miles away.

It was my understanding talking to the gentleman yesterday that if they get only 5 orders--that would be 20% off---if they get to ten orders then that would be 30% off.Aluminized or SS doesn't matter--same percent off on either.

Well you didn't mention a cat, so if you want performance you should get a test pipe to replace your cat.

As far as deciding between the exhaust systems, it depends on your car. If you intend on drag racing and getting your car as quick as humanly possible, then you should save every ounce of weight you can, which means get a single exhaust system. In terms of looks, I personally think dual exhaust always looks better. Of course, mufflers/cats make a difference too, not just the pipes running between them. I think any of these exhaust systems will perform well with the right choice of mufflers.

Anyways, I guess they're closed Sunday, I didn't get a response about whether or not they'd count my special order as part of the group buy. But I think we're up to 7 or 8 people now who are actually ordering.

Well it's the same idea again, it depends on what you want your car to do. If you're trying to run 9s, you aren't gunna use any mufflers. If your car is strictly for the drag strip, you'd want straight-through mufflers with low backpressure. If you expect to drive your car on the street often, then you want a muffler that sounds good, but also doesn't sound annoying when you're at cruising speed.

For example, my car is practically stock, so I'm getting a dual exhaust custom set-up to exit in front of the rear tires, and I'm getting Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers because I've heard they're good for eliminating drone when you're cruising, and I do most of my driving on the highway doing a steady 65mph+.

Straight through mufflers might flow better, but if you're driving a street car/daily driver, you don't need to be that worried about exhaust backpressure.

Sweet, I think with the last few posts we've hit the 10 mark. And yes the prices are going to rule. Stainless would still be out of my budget though, and I don't think I really need it anyway.

They'll probably email me back tomorrow about whether or not my purchase (system without the rear tailpipes) will be included in the group purchase. I'd assume so, if I was buying the whole system for more money, my 30% discount would be worth even more.
