We recently purchased a GN with an Extender chip installed.
The directions for the chip describe a supplied wire that should be installed into cavity D11 of the ECM and connected to the gray wire that runs under the console. The car does not have this wire so we are unable to confirm all settings of the chip.
My instructions are incomplete (missing 'figure 1') and I can't identify which ECM terminal corresponds to 'cavity D11'. Can anyone help?

Cavity D11 is one of the wires plugged into the computer. There are two big connectors that plug in. If you look closely, I think each of the "cavities" are labeled on the connector. It's been a while since I've looked at one.

My Factory service manual has the actual pin layout, but here are some resources on-line that may help.

Look at the bottom right of the second picture. See the CONN C1....it will show you which hole is the "D11"

Good Luck,
John

Hello,

I just went through the same thing. The D11 is located on the larger ECM connector. Its kind of in the middle of the connector. The connector is labeled but you may need some good eyes to see the real small numbers. As far as I know you can attach the gray wire to any wire that will come on with the parking lights. This chip changed my cars driving characteristics for the better. I highly recommend it to everyone.
