Still sorting out my T-Type
Searched, didn't find direct answer easily.

Given that stickers exist, "Do not add brake fluid" yada yada
and people warn about overfilling-

What is the correct brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoirs?

(Reason I ask, one is only half full, so is it normal, or indicating a problem with ????) THis is condition after I got car. I have not added fluid to the stock (Powermaster) brakes.

Thanks

Ken

If the pump and motor are working then half full is plenty.

Check the sight window just after the pump turns on with the key on.

As long as you are over the low line you are good to go.

If you wish to depressurize the system you pump the brake pedal hard 10-12 time at 50lb.s of force on it which is quite a bit.

KEY OFF while doing this you don't want the motor running.

Then check the level and you should be near full. If overfull this is when it will squirt out all over the place hence the warning stickers.

You drain the accumulator when pumping the brakes with key off.
