Factory Pwr Moonroof ????

I have an 86 TtYpe with factory powermoonroof. when i have the roof open all the way and windows dows i get a "thumping" inside the car that is very annoying. If I close the moonroof 3/4 of the way it goes away. I think I need an air dam for the moonroof. What are my options?? I'm not going to install anything that does not tuck away when the moonroof is closed.

These cars have awesome drive trains but don't forget the rest of the car is an 80's GM piece of CRAP.

FUNNY I HAVE ONLY NOTICED WHEN THE CARS WITH MOON ROOFS HAVE THEM OPEN AND THE WINDOWS UP, IT THUMPS. I WOULD NEVER EXPECT IT TO THUMP WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN. HHMMMMMMM?

Same here, my two cars only make noise, other than rushing air of course, when the windows are UP.

Then it thumps a lot you really can't use the astroroof with the windows up.

I only need the drivers side down to use the astroroof, I prefer that actually to having both windows open alone, or both windows and the astroroof open.

Too much air rushing around likes to blow all my paperwork out the passenger winder.

I get that flutter/thumping if I have the roof open 3/4 way, but once it's retracted the whole way it does fine. Are you sure that yours isn't getting stuck part-way open?
