Famoso last night...

it was PACKED last night at the track... had to be 300+ cars..

first run was 1.67 60ft 9.96ET at 139mph (temps 93*)

second run was 1.51 60ft 9.78ET at 139mph (temps 88*)

third run was 1.47 60ft 9.71ET at 139mph (temp 85*)

it was a good time, the car was getting quicker and quicker as the night kept going.. they were going to race in till 3AM but we left at 10:30 due to the 2 1/2 hour ride home.. the car came home without breaking and didn't get any tickets driving home..

the track was starting to come in.. the first run i was the second car to go down my lane.. that car should be pulling high 1.3*.. i wasn't to mad about last night :smile: ...

Last night was the last Friday night T&T event for the year ..

after PINKS in 2 weeks, she's staying in the garage in till the WCN..

the car is turning out to be a GREAT bracket car, i can pretty much bank on the times the car will run..

Hi Nordy, missed ya.
Was there myself, not at all prepared, worked late, so just went to watch. Someone there told me a GN ran mid-high 9's, but you off track by time I found out. Would have been great meeting you. Congrats!
Another GN was there, a T-Type with stock motor except small roller cam & (Anderson?) heads. A (wheel-chair bound) benefit counselor from Hanford owns it, driven by a young guy who knows the electronics well; nice folks. He had difficulty dialing it in, should be capable mid-low 10's but ran mid-high 11's. Kid didn't launch well though.
Stayed 'till 12:30 & buddies say it ran little past 2:30 AM 'cuz so many cars & final T&T for season.
Was fun meeting up with friends & seeing all the quick cars. It didn't cool off 'till got home (Fresno) about 2 AM. :frown: missed ya.

sorry to miss ya.... We ran into him while sitting outside waitting to get in..

Ray, Andrew and i help that guy all night long.. his first run was a 14 something and Ray started playing with the tune in the FAST system.. his next run he went 13's.. then his third with lower tire PSI he went 12.10 with still a bad 60ft.. he was a cool guy, we were parked right next to him..

i was talking to his brother all night and talking about if i would sell my GN.. i gave a price and he wanted my # so he could thing about it... We will see

Hay Nordy: Trade motors with me first :biggrin: ! & then if you don't sell it, you get the pleasure of building a new one (mine's busted main bearings).

Is it 9's AND street legal ? Gotta rebuild it at smog time?
Gotta see that car. You dudes in SoCal lucky to see/know each other.

Sorry to hear about the main bearing... been there, done that it sucks.. with the cam thats in the motor, it wouldn't even pass Maryland's smog let alone Cali LOL..

The car would be sold "as is", with all the extra stuff (but not with the labtop or trailer)..
