FAST fuel pump problems....

for some reason my fuel pump will not turn off. key is out of ignition. never had this problem before. had to disconnect the battery to turn it off. went back out about one hr later. reconnected the battery and fuel pump came to life again. i don't even know where to begin to diagnose this problem. any help is appreciated.

Did you try tapping and/or replacing the FP relay?

haven't had a chance to locate it yet, its pouring down rain. but that is the first place i am going to start looking.
