Installing a 4.6l dohc ford into my 88 mustang. Talked to a few people on putting the new xfi system on it verses the old b2b system. From what i understood between them, that it would work with the factory cam and crank sensors. So I ordered up a XFI system, gm main harness, universal edist, sensor pack. Installed it over the weekend, cranked it over last night and no crank or cam signal. Called up FAST and said that i needed a new crank trigger, because the xfi box couldnt understand the signal it was being sent. But couldnt give me a straight answer as to why it wouldnt at least flash the led. I havnt changed any of the calibration other then the operational parameters, fuel calc, firing order sync, and sensor calibration. Any suggestions for me to look at? or where to buy a crank and cam trigger that will work? thanks
Eli

Under, view, system config, operational parameters, you have the EDIS Ford ignition option selected? That does sound odd that it can't recognize it. Maybe Lance will pipe in. If he doesn't I KNOW 100% Lance can give you the answer so I'd ask to talk with him about it.
