I have moved on to a Stage II Motor. So I am out of this. Unless a Stage 2 Alky comes around..

I'd like to make it on the list at some point, but with 2 kids, work around the house, and deer camp, I don't exactly have lots of extra time to give the GN. It has taken me several years to get another bullet and tranny in the car. I am the slowest hotrod mechanic I know of!

I have enough parts to go deep into the list..... but having the parts and running a number is a whole different animal.

For now, I am going to have to be happy with mediocre launches and see what it does after the launch..... going to try and go to the track when the weather starts cooling down......

I've done 10.6 @ 130+ with lots of issues, that's a top 10 by mph. Once the trans gets back in in the next couple weeks I'll see what she can really do now that I've got my fueling figured out...

I haven't given up, just haven't had much time for the car. Work has been cranking lately plus I melted the trans again. Still gotta get that 100% and now I've got ignition issues to deal with.

Going to a set of homeported irons and see if I can crack 10s on the original high mileage motor.

Yeah, I'm still in. My cage got a fresh NHRA certification this year. : ) Like Paul said I plan on losing some weight with fiberglass to get me to the min TAI weight. Got the TR6 ignition that showed my old ignition wasn't up to par so who knows how much that was costing me. But my main goal is to improve the 60 fts. Already moved the battery to the trunk and playing with some of my boost control ramping to get it tuned for exclusively for drag radials. Also plan on going to a better suspension but I'm waiting for Paul to work his out before making the change.

for me with fast classic theres no way to have timing changes for 1st-2nd-3rd , at the boost i ran i'm fixed at 20.0* with dual nozzle razor , iron heads

a/f was 10.8 bottom of gear and 10.4-10.5 near top of gear ...went through traps at 6200 ,28"worn mt drs and th400 picking up solid 26+mph at the top half of the track ,

the boost on the 133.9 pass i had programmed
1st stage at 22psi for 1.5 seconds
2nd stage 25psi for 4.99 second (up to the 1/8th mile marker)
3rd stage 24 psi for the rest of run
the controller generally runs .4 to .2psi under the programmed target

Danged good run and I had to laugh when I looked at your boost settings. The boost creep on my puck/HD actuator/RJC controller setup is pretty close to your settings so I've decided to quit worrying about it.

I've messed up the stock rear end and decided to upgrade it, get UMI control arms and switch to disc brakes. Waiting for all the parts to arrive and it should be ready in about 3 weeks so I can go to the track and see what it will do. Also will look at Bob's Two Step if I cannot get consistent 60's.

Hope to get into 10.0's on 24#'s and will see how the car is behaving and make the decision whether to make a run at the 9's.

Still hard to believe what a difference a few changes can make. Dusty's convertor finally got me out of the 11's on the second run and a stroker kit and DLS roller cam will probably get me out of the 10's. Gotta love these cars!!

Lol, as soon as I can find a driver's seat for this car that my backside says is comfortable enough to make that drive, I will--a 5 hour drive about kills me, can't imagine what that trek would be like.
