Im looking to replace my headgaskets and dont know what ones I should run. I am down to these choices :

Fel Pro 1007 Bore: 4.100 Compressed thickness: .039
Fel Pro 1000 Bore: 4.020 Comp Thickness: .039
Fel Pro 1026 Bore: 4.090 Comp Thickness: .039
Fel Pro 9441

Block is stock

unless your heads are cut for reciever grooves, the 1007 can't be used. HTH

Just found that out so what ones you say will be the best?

maybe someone else will chime in, I have reciever grooves and have always used the 1007. Sorry couldn't be more help but it does slim down your options!;)

i used 9441 no problems yet and i have been hard on car but I now have a knock detector that works.

Run the 9441 gaskets they will work fine. The 1000 and 1026 are headgaskets for a Stage II engine. The 1007's require receiver grooves as stated above.

To the best of my knowledge you can't get 9441 gaskets any more. Only the 9441 PT gaskets are available. Originally when you ordered 9441's from Felpro you got OEM Victor gaskets. Both gaskets work equally well and according to Felpro the 9441PT doesn't require a re-torque.

I've put together 4 TR motors with 9441PTs. All have had 25 - 30 pounds of boost. No failures yet.
