Heard from someone that there was asuch a thing as an epoxy used for fiberglass. I guess it's used on boat hulls and I was told this would be good to use on my fiberglass bumpers to attach the brackets to the bumper skins. I plan on using more fiberglass to attach them but I did hear that this epoxy would be strong enough to hold by itself.
Problem is, I didn't get a name of it or where to find it. Anyone ever hear of something like this??
TIA

Boston Boy,
This should be an easy find for you, being right by the ocean. Look in the yellow pages for 'marine equipment', 'marine supplies', or maybe under 'boat equipment', 'boat supplies', or 'boat repair'. 'West Systems' epoxy can be found just about anywhere:

Read their flyers for proper use. There are other manufacturers.
For more info on how to use this stuff, go over to Scream and Fly's forums fiberglass forums and read through all the postings:

Good Luck!
