My first 87 GN was stolen in Kearny, NJ on 25 Mar 92. Never recovered....or least I was never notified.

It had about 40k miles on it at the time. Nearly bone stock in excellent condition. Insurance settlement was for $10,177.

Just for the heck of it, i ran a CarFax on your vin. no idea what it means .....looks like it ended up at a salvage yard ??

Wow. I had no idea what became of that car. I have some relatives in the police force. Maybe I'll ask them what this stuff means.

I'd say it means the insurance company paid you, the police found it based on a stolen vehicle report, probably stripped, and a salvage title was issued in the insurance company's name who sold it at a salvage auction. That's typically what happens.
