after much searching, i have yet to conclude that cutting the top pigtail of of the rear coil springs works. hope to lower rear of car 1.50 from stock ride height. i wanto use moog springs.
list your spring and if you cut them, and how much

thanks jerome baker

I've been using rear springs for a 79 Mustang that I got from Carquest (local parts chain, not sure if it is nation wide) Cut one coil off and it has worked for 5 years or so. Gives more clearance to the exhaust too. Cost was around $50 a pair.

i've run several sets of cut down factory varible rate springs and they work great (cutting the stacked coil end)

cutting regular springs with big gaps between coils dont work so great they tend to move around and can be noisey

iam using airbags currently. will they fit in an f-body spring?
thanks for the feedback men!!!!!
