Looks good, Donnie. I have the rjc cooler on my limited, too. The uppipe actually rubs the hood pad just a little bit. I bought a couple of 3" mandrel bends in aluminum and I'm gonna modify my rjc pipe. I'm trying to find a wedge shaped piece of aluminum plate to use between the throttle body and plenum to tilt the front of the tb down to also help with hood clearance.

I'm fabbing up an up pipe brace to avoid a blow-off and damage to my hoodpad. Especially since I'm building a one-off Carbon Fiber hoodpad...but that's for later in the thread. ;)

Maybe run an up pipe vanjen or wiggins clamp? Then you don't have to worry :D

Already started building it. No biggie. Only take about an hour or two and it will be finished.
Never heard of what your suggesting. Educate me.

Thanks

OK Fellas,
I got some items I had ordered today. I got all my stainless steel compression fittings so I can finish my new boost lines. I'll post pics this weekend. I also got my EGT bungs, so I can mod my new TA headers. I also got my aluminum bungs for my up pipe. Wait til you see my ALKY lines!!!

Quit teasing us with these parts. It's like reading a smut mag with no pictures.

Coach, loving the project. Here are some examples of wiggins clamps, usually from Accufab. They are pretty sweet, possibly a little over the top. But, might be right at home on your build. ;)

Thanks Squid. I started building a little brace a while back. Very simple, and will def keep the pipe from coming off.

My build is crazy detailed, not crazy horsepower. Probably 850 max.

Thanks

Sorry for the late response...only 850hp :P Just like you (and most buick owners) I grew tired of the upper Ic pipe blowing off under high boost...even when properly put on, and cleaned off before hand with good clamps. Seems to be the one weak spot in our piping so i decided to go with a Vanjen clamp. With how perfect your build is id say one would look right at home in that spot :)

I think mine turned out looking quite nice..really looks good under the hood along with holding more psi than I could dream of.

My sarcasm radar is broke. Are you really aiming that high? Can the block handle that?

There are so many good ideas and car porn in this thread it is awesome!

Well done Coach!

Im being told that at 28-30 psi...the 67HPQ on a stroker like mine will make in the mid 800's. Thats flywheel, not at the tire. Probably low to mid 600 at the wheels. That is from several. It's not finished yet, but we will fined out.

I had to have a 3/16's line welded into a 1/4" line to go onto my MAP sensor for the FAST XFI.
Well here's a little pic of my friends welding ability.

800's at the motor with a 15-18% loss should be close to 700 RWHP that will put you a about 140 mph or so mid 9s....is this your goal?

Bingo. I want a 9 sec slip. Then I can turn it down for daily driving and cruising. I'll prob have fun in TAI at the Buick events...except BPG. I've been told to stay home.

Donnie, the car is coming along nicely. I wish mine was... Also wish I had your fab skills !! Your friends welding skills are OK i guess...LOL.
I got a chair and am waiting to see the rest.

Depends on the dyno!!!! A car that went 143mph made 650rwhp.
He shouldn't have a problem going mid 9's. It all depends on the cam, compression and springs.

Depends on weight of car too........I;m assuming his car stock weight or more 3700 lbs.?
