I love that idea. I was going to ask Cal if there was a way to always have some logging while out screwing around. I am also going to be running EGT probes...dont know why. I guess because I never have on any other engine I built.

If you start to get serious or at least curious, I would recomend drive shaft spread sensor and 3 axis accelerometer also. I learned a lot by looking at those on my logs. Also opens up some possibilities with 8 analog chanels for additional logging.

Ok, I was just down the basement and needed to move these, so I figured I would snap a few pics. These will be added to the build down the road. They will be smoothed and chromed. For now...here is the difference in a 15x10 Vector and a stock T wheel. CRAZY BIG!!!
I cannot wait to stuff some 325's under my car with these babies on.

I am glad to have your product on my build, and so is Brian. He has basically putting my combo together for me to insure it will run the magic number I'm searching for....9.90 or better!!!
I took a pic but forgot to post it. We just had one of our busiest months ever. Guess we're doing something right.

Ok guys, I got my custom radiator from Pete at Alradco. I will make this statement...
"Any member who is in the market for a great American Made radiator and chooses another product...has never seen one of these." This thing is not only an exact OEM copy, but it's a work of art. The welds are perfect, the materials fit perfect, and the overall performance is second to none.
I am basing my info from Brian Lorenz, who just finished Marty Green's Limited. Brian's Chestnut Limited runs 9.5's and Marty's Limited run 9.6's...both of them cool as ice with these radiators. My car is getting ready to be Brian's 3rd 9 sec streetcar in his sig, and I am very proud of that.

Ok Guys...
BIG TWIST in plans. After talking with my better half...I'm doing a complete frame off and re-paint. I'm investing $30k into my drivetrain and my car has original "checked" paint. My car has 25,000 miles, and was bone stock when I got it, so only a good blocking needed.
I have major ideas for this build and feel that just detailing the engine compartment will only lead to tearing it totally apart again at a later date.
I get the hint from my builder that I may not have an engine till halfway thru summer, so it's not worth it. To install the engine and run it for a few months, if that, and then pull it to detail the frame is not in my time schedule.
I am getting another frame to brace and mod for bigger tires. A narrowed housing for my 15x10 Vectors is also driving this change in direction.
My interior is mint, so I'll remove it and store it.
This won't take me long and it only leads to more pics of custom fabbed up parts for you guys. When this car hits the show and track...it will be totally what I want with nothing else to do to it.
Sit back and enjoy the detailing and fabbing.
I got more pics to post soon. I should have parts returning from Vapor Deposition coating this week and my wheels are leaving to get coated.
I have a new front frame brace/guard getting welded up I just made this past weekend, and a super trick mounting location for my tranny cooler.
Too many other mods to list right now.

I'll have more eye candy soon.
I have a killer item I just received from Nick Micale at Arizona GN.
I'm building a high dollar, high horsepower engine, and after a few threads posted recently about failing oil filters, I was enlightened by a post by Nick. I called him on the phone and a few things sold me on this.
First was the ability to inspect the filter element any time you want and only loose bit of oil each time. Clean the element and re-install and it's good till next inspection.
Second was the Rare Earth magnet used to catch any particles, no matter how tiny, as the oil enters the filter.
Third was the alum housing. It's designed to dissipate heat.
And last but def not least...IT'S A WORK OF ART!!!
It comes with its own wrench and extra O-ring. I forgot to grab an extra element just to have, but next order I place, I'll grab one. I'll be installing one of these on my blower engine as well as my Max Wedge.
Check this out...then contact Nick and get one. For the $$$ you spend on throw away filters, this will pay for itself in a few seasons.
