Looks like you got one of the last surviving ones out there. I never even saw it posted on ebay, I'll have start doing better searches since a few people have had some luck finding items that I cant find.

hey Rudy, yea, I look every evening for grand national nos and it popped up. Was up there over night and we settled on a price. It was 750!

I did an advanced search on completed and sold listings and did not see one for a HA car, ever! $600 hard to swallow, but what do you do when they are basically non existent?

Paid out the ass for it, but was the only missing piece.

I'll have two hood liners that are decent, not great if anyone is interested. I could use the funds to help pay this one off...lol

Are you sure it is real? I have a NOS in storage for the past ten years and would really like to compare them. I really do believe you paid a lot. I would just love Jerryl to pay to ship his used one. Brad

oh, thats ok. I paid 600$ for the damn thing...lol.....if its not real..it looks damn close. CLick on the link in my first post it shows what I bought.

The $600 price means you got a great deal. The seller clearly had no idea of the true value. It is so perfect why would you ever install it? Deal of the century in my book. Brad

Thanks Brad. To answer your question on why to install it. Previously this year my engine bay got picked apart because of the hood liner decals being less than show quality, so this piece is show quality. Just another question....if I never use it, how can I appreciate it in a box?

I actually found a really nice hoodliner that an 87 guy put on his car. Has a small detent from the radiator overfill bottle. I look at my new one about once in every five years. I am telling straight from the heart that you made the deal of the century. You are a sharp and prudent.....

I need to figure out a way to quick change it for show appearance only. You have me thinking since you take yours out of the box every 5 years to look at it...lol. The whole secret is to preserve it and enjoy it at the same time. That is what I try to do with all my NOS items on the car.

Absolutely beautiful piece. I am impressed !!

Interesting, was that something that some aftermarket pads had errors with sometimes? Thank goodness my 87T has it's factory hood pad still very much intact.
