Up to about a few years ago I always used MarHyde 4311. It came in a blue can and was really good stuff. Dried a hard semi flat black and was very durable. And actually looked more like paint than a rubberized undercoat out of a can. Unfortunately they dont make this stuff anymore. Can anyone tell me if there is anything out there that works well? I tried the stuff they have at the parts store and it was all crap. Most looks like you put it on with a roller, and does not dry hard.

Im just looking for something as good as the MarHyde stuff was. If anyone has some experiences, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

Not available at Advanced Auto. Maybe you can find old stock in an autoparts store local to you.

I use Evercoat rubberized undercoating part# 100348, it is paintable and dries to a semi gloss finish. It's in a black spray can with a picture of a 1956 Corvette on the front. It's an awesome undercoat, I used it to touch up my frame since my GN came undercoated from the factory.
