About a year ago I was trying to find a short on a 20 amp circuit.
The fuse would blow the second it was inserted. Went through 12 fuses and gave up.

I ended up building this gizmo to continue diagnosing. It is a simple 20 amp resettable fuse with toggle switch and load (lighted switch)

Worked great as I was able to:
1-Not waste fuses
2-Not keep damaging the fuse panel
3-Was able to see if the circuit was powered
4-Shut the power off to the circuit.

Hope this helps someone equally electrically challenged as me. Lol

Yeah, its a 15 or 20 amp unit. Can't remember. For a smaller circuit, it would need to be adjusted accordingly.
