I installed it yesterday and all I can say is that it sure woke up my combo vs the PTS 9/11 I took out. The Edge will foot brake to 3,100 rpm's vs the 9/11's 2,600. What a difference that makes with the 6262. The Edge pulls strong throughout and made me appreciate my combo a whole lot more. I would highly recommend this turbo for those wanting to run a lock-up. Now I can't wait to get to the track.

I run one as well. Worked great with my 6262 also. Curious to see what your car does with this converter. Wondering if you're going to go faster AND pick up mph. Update this post when you go so I'll get the notification lol.

Good to see other guys running the Street Edge. Lonnie from EA recommended Edge to me when I bought my trans from him.

Will do.

Do you lock your Edge at WOT?
I don't lock this one but have locked one similar from revmax that uses the same core. Locking It will actually slow you down because it drags rpm way out of power range and will destroy the lu clutch. I would not lock it.

I've had Edge converters in three different vehicles now and all of them have been spot on. I don't lock mine at WOT so I would also be interested to see how that is working for people.

Did you ever work the slip percentages on any of yours? They were all LU I assume?

I did work the slip % in the PRO Edge NLU behind a SBC pickup in my sig and I want to say it was like 1% but don't take that as the gospel as bad memory has set in and that was 10+ years ago. My LU in my Buick has not been to the track yet but I am hoping to get some time in by the end of the year.

Thanks so much for responding.

i got a dump question how do you keep from locking up at wot ?

The factory (and conventional) method is that the converter does not lock at WOT so to get it to lock a switch or the chip is used to activate the circuit.

Yup. If you have a 6.1 TT Chip I think its parameter #7

What is the flash stall on the edge that you just installed and how much power is the engine making?

I've had one in my car since day one luckily they are a 45min drive from me .

I've got logs that show 13% slip with 373 gears, 26" tire, 530rwhp(estimated), 5700rpm, and 3500lb weight. Still was tuning the launch and never got a clean pass out the gate but did manage a 1.61 60' letting out of it 20-30' out. The rpm drop on my 2nd-3rd shifting at 6000rpm top of 2nd drops to 5300 rpm bottom of 3rd.

What size are they? doesn't say in link, 9.5" ?
