I found a calculator under Wallace Racing and applied these numbers. It showed 22.7% slip!! I hope you have a better formula to use. :)

I can do a little better lol. 1:1 gear ratio with 0 slip with that gearing and mph you would be 4650rpm. 5550-4650= 900 (engine is spinning 900rpm faster than the transmission output shaft). 900 divide by 5550= .162 x 100=16.21 % slip. +-1%.

This might seem high but don't get hung up on slip % especially in the 8th mile. I'd be willing to bet if you were to run the 1/4 mile you'd cross the line around 10% or less slip. Mine for example is slipping 1250rpm at 5500 rpm but at 5900rpm the slip is 750rpm or 12% at 101mph. With the 6262 .63 ar you really want to keep rpm 5200-5800 range because this is where it was really huffing on my motor. If it were me I'd get the boost back up to around 28psi. An external gate would help this setup also and may let you rev it out further.

Is the 5200-5800 at the top of the shift? If so, I am right in the ball park now.
The next test and tune is 16 Nov and I hope the weather cooperates. I really want to turn the boost up to 28# and see what happens using the internal gate.

1/8 slip will be higher than 1/4 slip.

It is possible to get 1/8 slip in the single digits but the gearing isn't usually suited well for 1/4 trips.
 
jmo after 4k in 9x11 converters none have worked ..... not bashing! I love his deep pans
 
I lock mine @ 85 it helped my ET on old set up
Edge told me it wont hurt it at my power level
was not much slip at 85 only dropped RPM 150 to 200
1/8 went 91.5 to-92 Et 7.7 to 7.6
1/4 went 112.5- to 114 Et 12 to 11.8

Thanks for your feedback. Did you lock it with the combo in your signature, or an older combo?
 
older combo
stock heads I ported (just cleaned up the casting ) and a FT 210-215 cam 49# inj TT ALKY chip all else the same
 
my goal is 11.5 ,it went 12.0 112 mph at 20 lb boost with new combo not locking
I probably will lock it ,time will tell
