Completely agree with *Eric stage 1*'s troubleshoot list..wudnt hurt to send the chip in incase it's bad.

Changed the battery and re-seated the chip. It starts and runs now but won't build past 10lbs. The passenger window still won't go up/down.
Do you have the correct y fitting and orientated correctly for the vac hose coming off of the wastgate sensor? This will cause the low boost symptom.

Sounds like a whole host of issues needed to be adressed. Work on only one problem at a time, and keep a log of what you tried doing to fix each one. That way you can go back and undo if need be.

And if you haven't already, absolutely get a scan tool, especially before you start tackling boost issues, or you might never be alerted to knock retard that could destroy your new engine!

Is this after driving it around for awhile..... it takes a little bit of driving for the chip to "learn" the settings. Also... what kind of chip? I assume it is for the 55 lb injectors. What is your fuel pressure (vac line off) at idle? You also could have a wastegate puck not sealing correctly limiting and slowing the buildup of boost.

Armstrong chip I bought off a member here. It's supposed to be burned for these injectors. I haven't checked the pressure yet.

I'm not using the solenoid or Y-fitting.

No doubt, I'm just glad it's running. The scan tool's on my list.

The car's been trashing injector O-rings. What can I do to alleviate this problem? Different rings? I'll be ordering a FP gauge/new downpipe this week.

Hmm, that sounds strange. O rings usually don't just go bad. If they leak, they usually leak from the installation. Were they lubed before install?

Sounds like my car after 6 years of sitting. I installed new head gaskets and upgraded fuel system to a double pump in tank. Fuel pressure was 80lbs at idle. i unpluged one pump and it ran fine. looks like i need a larger return line back to the tank.
