Well went to HRP and made four passes. I expected more I guess but ran a 14.09 @95mph. Met a couple GN guys off the board (thanks for the advice on the valve springs I'm gonna need a lot more, one step at a time. :D )and had a blast. It's been over five years since I'v made any passes. Didn't realize how much I missed it! Well thanks again to Tim and DJ for the help. Now I just gotta find the problem with my fan not running.

good to meet ya out there man, i meant to help you trouble shoot the fan more while you were there..... it probably just the fan relay, but i think it may still come on high if you turn the AC on(could be wrong here.) Good luck with it man.

I can't believe I missed it jhanson1750.

I was moving all weekend. I didn't know you were having trouble with your fan. BTW, I picked up 2 MPH with new valvesprings. $48 from Kirbans and I have the tool if you want to borrow.

Yea the fan works with the ac on so prob just the relay. JD thanks for the tips again. Justabuickv6 I will be getting in touch in the next couple days to get any pointers and may take you up on the tool as well. By the way how is the new place/BIG move :D going? I hope no more electrical gremlins!! Anyway the car may be on hold for a couple weeks. I have a couple large projects about to kick off at work and (unknown to my wife) she and I are going to cancun for our 3 year anniversary. We leave the 7th of april home the 10th :D . Then......bucks on buick time!!! I should have earned enough brownie points to do just about any mod I want and not catch any flack. (Just kidding got the best woman there is, doesn't care as long as the buick runs better after each mod!!!)

hey, i was just curious if on the way back from the track you happened to race a brand new BMW m5? One of my friends dad has one and lives in Kemah, said he ran a GN on that sunday, and has since ran either the same one or another GN.

Yea was me, at least one of those times. It was on the way to the track on new 96,through first and into second and let out but from the looks of things at the time he would have pulled me even if I had stayed in it. Like the noted car is currently a turd need to do valve springs and do some tuning. Tell him very nice car!! ;)
