I got pads from Praise Dyno. Thye were highly recomended. They really stop well (push the pass seat forward when I press them hard) and they don't squeak at all. However dust city and expensive.

I got my performance friction zrated pads from AutoZone. Life time guarantee. I bought new rotors too and they were $30+ a piece with new bearings. Thats cheap as hell so if I tear up a set of rotors once a year, I am paying 60 bucks. I never have to buy pads again and my car will through you through the dash if you aren't careful. Seems worth it to me.

I don't know what you are talking about

Sounds like a sweet ride. :p I would really like to see some pictures ;)

Raise the dead

Sorry to bring up a long gone thread but I have a question.

The local parts store says the best thing they carry is Wagner brake pads for about 50 bucks a set.

They are semi-metalic. Anyone run these?

He said they have shims built in to stop the squeaking that drives me crazy.

can someone get me the part numbers on the napa pads and rotors that you are talking about? Thank You

Napa Ceramix pads

The part number I got off their website is

RBPCMX7070A and the price is $72.49 before shipping.

Limited lifetime warranty
