Front Tire Fitment

So I'm looking at getting a set of 17X8 rims with 4.5" backspacing for my GN. Does anybody know if I'll run into problems with those on the front with a 255-45-R17 tire? (it's the same diameter as a 215-65-R15 . . .what's on there now).

You need to tell us if you are using stock spindle and stock brakes and, if not, what you have on your car. They make a difference!

I'm pretty confident it's all stock suspension. The car came with progressive springs in the back, but that's about all the suspension mods that have been done to the car. . .

17x8" rims with a 4.5" backspace means you have a half-inch of positive offset. You might be ok, but you might want to run spacers.
