Fuel Cell and stock gas gauge?

Can you use the stock gauge with a aftermarket sender unit in a fuel cell? Thanks for any help!!

Maybe ohm out the stocker (mimic empty & full) and match up and aftermarket sender of the same ohms rating.

90 to be exact. Most fuel cells with senders will come with a GM or Ford ohmed sender.

Whoops, you need a 0-90 ohm. I have one, it works fine.
