What size fuel lines are you guys running when you do upgrades to the fuel system? With double pumpers in the tank

That's what I was thinking. It wouldn't make any sense to upgrade to a -6 feed to -4 return. Waste of time and money right?

Unless you plan on running your car into the 9's, the stock fuel lines with work fine with a double pumper, as we have a few local GN's running low 10's with this set up. :)

The reason I asked is the fuel lines in my car are all F up. I was really taking a hard look at things and I have some places that are some what crushed spot, very rusty places that will break very soon to me. So I want to fix it and be done with it. An have a setup if I want to go into the 9's I have the system done. I want to spend the money one time on it and be done.

If that's the case, replace them with Teflon lines like Mark suggested. Not cheap but they will last a long time and flow as much as you'll ever need.

That's what I ordered got a good deal on it to. A double pumper can handle what hp level?

turbo 6, .......if you don't mind what is a good deal? and what's expensive? I am putting together a new build and a guy that I trust said new setup needs a better fuel system with the new motor I need to update the fuel system

Your pumps and fuel lines will feed a 1,000 hp motor running on gasoline. Will you be making this kind of power?

I'm going with a modded stock fuel rail that has 2 -8an weld fitting on it to feed it. A -6an fitting in the middl of the U at a 45 degree angle welded on. Running a -8 feed line and -6 return line. Into a Aeromotive 13301 Fuel Pressure Regulator, Y off to feed the front. with a 7mico inline fuel filter

Ttype6, The build is a 109 stroker caps, Molner Rods, Earl Brown Timing Cover and Oil Pump, New Champion Heads Custom Cam By Brian (Bison) ,FMIC 315xfi, PTE 6466View attachment 189906 Hempstead-20130418-00047.jpgmotor 007.JPGmotor 006.JPG If Brian wants to give Info on Heads/Cam, he will respond to this thread, Brian has all the power numbers, and suggests we adjust the fuel system

The one you have will feed a 1,000 hp motor running on gasoline.

That is AWESOME! o_O

Please let us know of the GN or TR's that have run into the 8's with just an in-tank double pumper?

Maybe they can chime in here to help us poor in-informed owners to tell us what we are doing wrong spending all that $$$$ on our fuel delivery systems?

So what kind of power will a double pumper support?

This local car has run 10.2 on race gas with a double pumper with 2 Walbro pumps on 116 race gas, 75# injectors, and pulled 516 RWHP on e-85 at 23 psi using a TE-45a turbo and 120# injectors.

The data on duty cycle shows just a little more power, and it would be in the critical zone in both cases. :)

Unlike lots of "information" on this board, we can back up ours with real world testing, time slips, dyno pulls and data logs. :D

With the info that I have in my signature will the double pumper provide the fuel that is needed to get the best out of the motor? Or do I need to step up on the fuel pump?

The Alky dual alky kit will raise the limits of the double pumper.
