the last time i drove my car the igntion module went out. i replaced it last night, and noticed my fuel pump wouldnt cut on. tried bypassing the relay i have for the hotwire kit. and still nothing. i replaced the pump today with a new walboro. and still nothing. what do i need to check?

Check the wires that go to the oil pressure sensor. If they ground out, the fuel pump won't work.

im also using the type 2 coil system. what will afect the pump comming on. and what other relays and fuses does it go through that i need to check.

Type 2 ignition has nothing to do with the fuel pump.

Do you have something to test 12vdc? Volt meter? Test light?

I have power. But imnot getting switch power to turn on the pump. Also when i hot wired the pump to start the car. It turned over and a loud pop. So im guessing the firing order from caspers site is not correct possibly. So my question is whats the firing order and wat sensor contros the fuel pump?

left to right 1-4-2-5-3-6

motor
6-5
4-3
2-1

The signal comes from the factory fuel pump relay under the hood on the passenger fender next to the map senor. The relay with the grey plug.
