Looking to upgrade my staged double pumper fuel pump setup running the stock feed and return fuel lines on my Stage II TTA. Any recommendations on a better set up for a mostly street driven car ?

Was looking to go Weldon 2025 with their controller kit and upgrading to -10an feed line. My concern is the need for adding a sump to the tank and hassle with the baffling that came with the TTA fuek tank.

Thoughts ?

You could fabricate a larger pickup tube (like 1/2" )to replace the intank pump. Plumb that to a Weldon pump. That should supply enough fuel to support 900-1000 HP. I'd run a -10 line from the pump to the regulator, never need to upgrade that line ever again!

Weldon pumps are noisey for a street driven car. But I like that noise!!

I would look at Aeromotive Eliminator pump with an Electronic Speed Controller. Definitely go with -10 supply and -8 return. You will need to install sump in the tank or you could install the Aeromotive pump in the tank! I would also install Aeromotive 40 micron SS pre-pump filter and 100 micron SS post-pump filter. This would all be compatible with E85. Aeromotive has just come out with a filter/shut-off valve with dry-break to prevent spilled fuel when changing/cleaning filter element. Take a look at it as well.

Here is my setup. I had Ricks Hot Rods build me one of their stainless tanks with a custom -10 pickup but you could easily modify the stock sending unit in the same manner.

-10 stock style pickup to externally mounted Weldon 2015 mounted above tank in location where stock muffler originally resided. Yes - this pump can lift the fuel just fine and is perfectly streetable. 40 micron pre-filter and 10 micron post filter. -08 line to the rails with a -06 return line. I run an Aeromotive pump controller to keep the noise down on the street and to help keep the fuel cool.
