Funny problems

Took the gn out last friday nite
started it and the fan stayed running when i shut it off mins later changed fan relay no prob
later driving it started surging so i pulled over and only had 20lbs fuel press let it sit for 10 mins and started up again now had 40 lbs did this all nite pump is a month old also the radio lost time every time it did ths

any ideas new pump maybe
now it starts and runs fine then the fuel drops and comes back again

sounds like a loose connection on the pos battery cable or a bare spot rubbing on header or frame check neg cable also.

Yep check those and the grounds behind the head.

Drove 50 miles. Got to town and died. Had 20lbs of fuel press. Could reg go bad or pump again

Cooled down and started and drove home

If its cooling down and then running fine, I bet its the new pump you put in. I put a Walbro 255 in my Syclone and after about 500 miles it started doin the sam thing. Is that the kind of pump you put in. There was a run of crappy ones goin around.

Have you ever changed the fuel filter? Could be plugging in use with the trash settling out after setting for awhile...
