Fuse Block

I don't know what I really need, I do know that the wiper fuse came out looking chewed up and the wiper won't work unless I wiggly the new fuse every time I use it. Like to replace the whole fuse block and any mating parts that go with it. It also doesn't seem all that tight on the interior fire wall. Myself, I never had a fuse block off or ever messed with it, any advice would be appreciated. I've searched around and have not been able to find any new ones for our cars for sale...

The fuse box is a sandwich type connection. Fuse box on the inside , wiring harness on the other. There is a screw in the center of it to hold it together, try tightening the screw/bolt.

Thanks Bryan, I assume that bolt must be in the engine compartment.

Chuck, the fuse block is connected to the under dash wire harness and is VERY difficult to replace w/o changing the entire harness.

Like Bryan stated, there is a screw/bolt with a 1/4" hex on the engine side of the firewall under the wiper motor. It probably is best to remove this connector under the hood from the fuse panel and spray both pieces with an electrical contact cleaner before you tighten the screw.

This has type bulkhead connector has been a common problem on GM cars since the 1960's.
