Just seen on gbodyparts the 85 ttype lier seats and was wondering if anyone here has bought and used them before? How close is the material to the original and most importantly how's the color match ? I want to go with the light charcoal

Not the best pics, but, 87 T grey seat on L, 85 Lear GBody light charcoal covers - C, really old & crappy 85 Lear seat on R. Don't really know how close to original color, as my 85 seats are really bad. You can see areas on the new covers that are much lighter, depending on how the light hits them. I think they would look lighter when installed. Piping looks exact.
If you do order, be sure to stress LIGHT Charcoal. They sent me charcoal by mistake the first time, looked almost black.
Can't speak to fitment, as my seats need a lot of work, and some parts, to make them (and thus the covers) usable.

These are regular 87 T seat covers, correct?
The Lear covers are a different pattern.

1fastcobra did you have to redo your door panels and back sail panels as well to match the new seat covers ?
