I have a complete Gearvendors Overdrive set up for a turbo 400. You get everything you need to bolt the set up on and go. It comes with the Gearvendors unit, electronics, turbo 400 adapter and the required coupling. $1425 plus shipping. Thanks

Did you have this in a g-body? Also does it come with the driveshaft?

The unit was installed in a early 90's Chevy pickup. I rode in the truck before the unit was removed and made sure it worked as it should. It doesn't come with a driveshaft but it should cost ~$80 to have you existing driveshaft shortened to the proper length.(I had to have my shortened recently for a different reason and that's what mine cost)

Here are a few pics of the unit. I have everything needed to install the GV including wiring, VSS speedo adpater, coupling and floor mounted switch.

How do these hold up to trans brake launches? Also what are these rated for?

According to thier website they are rated at 1200hp in normal configuration and can be upgraded to more hp. On the GV website they have a video about Hot Rod Drag Week and the vid shows some of the cars that competed with GV's and the 09 winner was a Procharged Camaro that ran 7.80's with GV and there were others in the 8's and a good number in the 9's and 10's.

Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive Racing Applications auxiliary transmissions.
