Generic Rock or Chip guard ?'s

I think I have seen a clear drying chip gaurd spray can that you can buy at a good auto body parts store or general parts store.

Has anyone ever used the clear version?

Any prep involved like suffing up the paint prior.
Or do you just prepsol the area. mask off & shoot it?

No abrasive prep is needed...However, you should prep the area with silicone,wax and grease remover.
