Getting erid of the flowmaster exhaust and am looking for the best set up performance and sound wise. The car is basically street but I am back to working on it and wnat it to run stronger.

Hooker Super Competition Cat-Back Exhaust Systems? Is this ok and will it work for an 85 T Type?

The Hooker setup was a nice, inexpensive upgrade from the stock $299 and $80 install. Not too loud either. If you are looking for the most performance, 3in single shot is the way to go. I went with the Hooker because of stock appearance and they include a 2.5 in test pipe. 3 in test pipe with dump would be a better choice.

The system is stock appearing but isnt there still is some fabricating to be done as far as welding hangers. I am looking for a good sounding exhaust system that has very limited popping. I want performance but odds are the car will rarely see the track if ever. I have 2000 ws6 with borla catback system and it sounds awesome.

where did you get the Hooker exhaust for 299? I looked at summit and the kit is 339

KWCOOK- Based on your needs go with the Hooker Hi Flow system. I got mine from Postons-Now $359 plus shiiping. It is a 2 1/2 inch setup There is a slight modification to the downpipe converting it to a four bolt flange versus a 3 bolt stock 85. Any exhaust guy can handle it. I am very happy with mine after 2 1/2 years. Brad

I have read a lot of posts with your feedback and I am curious about your set up. If I got all the kinks worked out of my T Type I would definently consider Razors Alky System. What should your car run properly tuned with good traction. I would like to do most of your mods except the heads and boreing of the motor currently.

Thanks For the Input Everyone

If anyone needs a stock hot air downpipe with a 4 bolt flange on it for the aftermarket exhaust let me know, I have one. -Nick.
