i'll put a pacifier in your envelope maybe it'll quiet you down.
Maybe you can campain across AMERICA and convince AMERICANS (Ya know, the ones who bailed out GM) that a 13.4 BILLION dollar bailout is because the CEO's did such a great job running the company.... In fact, they should get millions of TAX dollars when they leave as a result. Wow, Get a clue dude. Contract or no contract, the only reason he received any money is because AMERICANS gave it to him.

How much money do you think he would have received if AMERICANS didn't bail out GM? Did that cross ur mind? Apparently not.....

I now it is tough to understand but Wagoner did an excellent job at reorganizing GM before the Economic Terrorism hit. He had takin GM from a company that was stuggling to restucture under bad contracts and worst product. The product you see today is because of Wagoner, the level of quality and design is because of him. Before you guys start bassing me I have work in the industry for 20 years and the product is second to nun. In March of 2008 the market was at 18 million now it is a 10 million unit market. Not many industry will survive at that much lost in sales. You do not turn the size of GM around and restucture in a couple of years. If you go thru reorganization you are going to have losses. Lossing money on a balance sheet isn't the same as loosing that much cash. If you think the money they spent on GM is alot take a look at AIG and the propposed bonus's they are geeting ready to spend.:D

see the post above mine. if the govt hadnt offered up money to every other failing company and the automakers didnt have a chance to take a bailout, GM would have filed for bk earlier and you would have nothing to complain about.
