GN 200r4 question

Hello everyone I have a 1986 El Camino with a 402 in it. Well I need a new Tranny. my old 200r4 blew up since it was stock and El Camino has ****ty 200r4. Well I like the 200r4 and I was wondering how good is a GN 200r4? I have a guy selling one for 350. do Not really know the GN much other then they are the fastest v6 made in the 80's

For your application use the original el camino 2004r and beef it up.The only benefit of the gn over yours is the servo in your case.Put the money into the parts you need to tuffen up your core.How much power,carb size and axle ratio?

Well I am not sure HP, but it is over 300. Also my rearend is a stock el camino rear. So I need to beef it up
