GN Dash Plaque

I read what you said. And I don't think there's anything more important to do than keep people from getting duped into thinking these parts are like gold. These plaques were the same from 85-87. That means there were 2100 made in 85, 2200 made in 86 and 20,000+ made in 87. In addition to the approximately 2000 replacement ones GM produced. Add that up---roughly 26,000 of these things were made. How many GNs have been parted out over the last 20 years?? My guess is, there are more of these plaques out there than Grand Nationals. It's not like there were only 547 of them made. This is EXACTLY what drives the prices up overall. Someone fooling the newbes into thinking you can't find these anywhere.

You just don't get it do you? Do you think your impressing me and others with all your facts and figures? Do you see anything in my ad that says Rare, Discontinued ect.? I'm not twisting anybodys arm to buy this plaque if you don't like my price tuff S--T. GET LOST!!
 
turbonut85, Just for your info I am not a newbie even though I don't have many post. I just feel that if I do not have something worth while to say I don't. I have been in the Turbo Buick world for over 20 years. I don't try to dazzle members with my BS. I have owned about 10 Turbo Buicks over the years and still own two. The price I pay for a part is really none of your concern and I hope the moderator reads this post.

Good for you! By looking at your past posts, you and Mike seem to be pretty tight! Congrats on your new purchase! Are you switching your 2 TR's over to GN's or are they already GN's, just need a spare? If you want another, I have a really really nice one i'll sell you for $225 too. Let me know.

I think the guys that scan the adds and post the price is to high need to get a life:rolleyes: Most people that do this are not even looking to buy or need the part.
 
gn plauque

Who ever is getting this plauque is going to be one happy TR guy. That plauque came off of a low mileage gn that had only 6000 miles on it. mike and I trade for parts. This plauque for what it sold for is worth every penny.

Hey Jeremy, btw I need 100 for that dash plaque because its from an 86 T and I need money so I can buy a used 87 buick regal dash plaque for 75 and pay another 25 for shipping because we all know that those plain 87 regal dash plaques are far and few between too. They only made so many of them that year:rolleyes::biggrin:

Just so happens I have a NOS 87 dash plaque I will sell you for $500 if you want....:rolleyes:

Hey if you got the NOS box I'll give you an extra 50 for it;) I shouldn't have bought that set of 20s with tires for my truck I could have bought your totally sweet 87 regal dash plaque and even got the bubble wrap to enjoy after I install it:cool:

I don't mean nothing by it guys. I just like to get a laugh in when I can. To each his own for what they sell and how much. Somtimes time is of the essence and people want the best they can get and want it now. They will pay. I myself am a cheap bastard and scrounge junkyards and cut up roundy-rounds for parts and sheetmetal. So I guess you can say I am one of those CHEAPOS that don't want to spend a million dollars on a car. THere's more important things to spend a hard earned dollar on.
 
You guys should really bud out and go back to playing with model cars:rolleyes: The bottom line if the price for a part is to much you dont need to put your 2 cents in.(Just click on the next add to find a better price) Myself i would never pay that much for a dash plaque. But i would never post on any add the price is to much.I know Mike and his parts are show quality if thats what your looking for and if not move on....
 
I'm budding out now because I'm off to get a life....and some new model cars too....FYI I prefer Hotwheels. :)
