I read what you said. And I don't think there's anything more important to do than keep people from getting duped into thinking these parts are like gold. These plaques were the same from 85-87. That means there were 2100 made in 85, 2200 made in 86 and 20,000+ made in 87. In addition to the approximately 2000 replacement ones GM produced. Add that up---roughly 26,000 of these things were made. How many GNs have been parted out over the last 20 years?? My guess is, there are more of these plaques out there than Grand Nationals. It's not like there were only 547 of them made. This is EXACTLY what drives the prices up overall. Someone fooling the newbes into thinking you can't find these anywhere.
