GN Floor mats...Mrs.Coach is pissed!!!

Hey Guys,
Just did my gift swap with the future Mrs. Coach. She ordered me a set of embroidered GRAND NATIONAL floor mats. She called A-1 Custom carpets and talked to a salesman in person. Most of the pictures she found showed a red and ORANGE turbo 6 and she wanted a set with the correct red and YELLOW. The picture on their websight showed it as red and YELLOW and she told the guy they were for an 87. Well guess what...the turbo 6 is red and ORANGE. Shes pissed. The headrest and everything else on the car is red and YELLOW. Where can she get the correct ones??? If that salesman was here, all he would want for Christmas is his 2 front teeth...LOL

Help her out. She was so happy to get these for me and they are not cheap.

Return them for a full refund and go to G-Body parts for the Red & Yellow ones that will match the rest of the car... :biggrin:

G-body websight shows red and orange. Are the damn companies really color blind??? Cant they see they dont match???

Really? When I ordered mine from Brian they came Red & Yellow... that was several years ago though..

Mybe Brian will chime in with a solution/explanation..

Well I like how you think except one small detail. My car is 100 miles away at Janis transmission shop and where I live we have 2 feet of snow. I would have to stay mad for 5 months and thats not gonna work.

I bought a set from Brian at gbodyparts. they came red and orange. I sent them right back and he had me a red and yellow set. in about 2 weeks.
you can go to the acc (auto custom carpet) website and see the differant embrodery available. but the numbers for the different logos are very similar.

Some people send they yellow back wanting the orange & some will send back the orange wanting yellow.

I'll get my guy to do a drop down menu or just add a new pic with the yellow & orange.

Coach I think she called here Monday but we only had the orange with the word Grand National buy it. We had red & yellow with just the Turbo 6.

Thanks Brian. I called and never heard back. Mrs. Coach has the yellow mats coming from A-1 Auto. She texted me today at work and told me they sent out new ones and e-mailed her a return shipping label so she did not get charged for return shipping.

Thanks a ton to all who offered help. She was really bummed. I tiold her dont sweat it, the car is at the tranny shop and I cant do anything to it until the 2 feet of snow melts anyway.
