GN Motor

Just curious, anybody have a GN motor for sale? Got a hot-air carbed t-type but want to convert to intercooled. Its either that or I'm dropping a small block chevy. Just looking at some options. I heard there are guys out here that do small blocks with turbos...hmmmm...I am not really a mechanic...more like brokecanic...so that's why I joined this forum in hopes of meeting some good people willing to help me out.

Doing the swap from a Hot-Air SFI car to a Intercooled SFI is pretty easy..

but for your swap you would need basically a complete donor car...

Basically gut your car of interior (dash and AC box as well) motor /trans/rear end... in fact... If you have access to a pair of 2 post lifts... unbolt the frame with all the related stuff (motor/trans/rear/fuel lines, brake system, etc.. ) and swap... basically putting your body on a later frame.

Your current car may not have the crossmember mount for the 200-4R, The AC box is unique to the TR, the dash and wireing differs substantially.

It can be done, but it aint gonna be easy or fast.

Dammit it sounds like I'd just be better of buying a real GN. I don't have a garage where I can do all of that action.
