I wanted to make an extraordinary GN poster for my garage. I wanted to combine the most important person in my life (my wife) with my passion (the GN). My wife likes the aesthetic qualities of the “darkness” even though she is devoted Christian. The night sky, the Moon light, Raven, Wolf, Graveyard and so on. They all intrigues her imagination and of course, the GN fits perfectly into that theme.

So I asked my cousin “Foost” on this board to combine the picture of my wife and my GN into a theme that describes the scene that I am looking for. I sent him a picture of my wife along with a picture of my GN and a brief description of what it should look like.

Here is the result, I am extremely happy with his creation to say the least. It’s going to be a 20”X24” poster framed and hanging in my garage forever.

My wife has no clue that I am doing this; once I get it back from the frame shop I will surprise her.

If anyone is interested in doing something like this, I am pretty sure he can do something for a fee. The most important thing is; you need pictures with real high resolution so that it will look good when it’s blown up to a poster size.

Let me know what you guys think!

Big thanks to Anish AKA Foost

i wonder if that Fathead company would make a lifesize wall stick on. They do huge football helmets. Why not cars?

Dude your wife is HHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man that is a freakin awesome poster! I would definately say it describes you perfectly! Only thing is, all us guys are going to be drooling all over it when we hang in the garage!

I like it, it looks good, the only technical thing I would do is to put a picture of your wife that was shot a little off center with more of her camera left face being shown, just to give her more depth in the picture. Instead of it being shot straight on at eye level, because it just flattens the image. Also give her some softer lighting. That would make her really pop out well in the poster.

i'd say the face is way to bright liked the head stones and the crow. crows are way cool and smart birds and to this day i still think about the pet crow i had at 12.

Thanks, point well taken. That's also somewhat “Foost" had ask me to do when I was taking pictures. Since I was doing this as a surprise, I didn't want my wife to find out what I was doing. She kept making me retake pictures because she was not centered or facing the camera straight. It was my fault; I told him that he has to work with what I gave him. Oh well, when she finds out I will take pictures like you guys suggested and make another poster. I am sure Foost wouldn't mind making me another one.:D :D :D
